I Can't believe Allison is 6 months old already! She is such a fun, happy and healthy baby girl. I'm so blessed to have her in my life.
She had her 6 month check up the other day and weighed in at 14 pounds 4 ounces (20%), she was 24.5 inches long (10%) and her head was 16.5 inches (35%). I have a tiny baby! I just hope that she grows up to be taller than me. :) She did great with her shots too. She only had to get two this time (other times were three) and only cried after the first one. The last couple times she got shots she slept most of the day after. After these ones, you couldn't even tell she had them. She was bouncing in the jumpy seat and rolling all over the place and not napping. I was really hoping she would so I would get one myself. :)
Allison isn't a great napper, but she has been sleeping so great at night. Not quite all night without waking up, but she gives us long periods of sleep. We just need to learn to go to bed earlier. She won't wake up to eat, just fusses if she loses her pacifier or flips over on her tummy and gets frustrated. She does sleep on her tummy now though. There was one night that we kept putting her back on her back/side, but she just went right back onto her belly. I guess this the point where you just have to let them. Still very glad we have the video monitor so we can check on her all the time without waking her up. :)
Anyway, 6 months has just flown by and I can't even imagine how many more changes she's going to have. She's a rolling machine now, I guess crawling is going to follow very soon!
Here are some cute pictures taken in the last couple weeks.
I love babies in jeans. :)
Sitting on Brandon's new hunting chair.
This is kind of a goofy picture, but I think her eyes are so pretty here.
First day of "school" picture...which she did pretty well at! I think it was harder on me. :)
Laughing at me telling her 'no' to not eat a daffodil. :)
Auntie Nikki.
Goofy picture of Allison with her Great Grandma, but I'm glad I captured it.
Cuddling with Brandon.
