Last day of birthing class

Tonight was the last night of our birthing class! Well we have one more, but it wasn't part of this series. The one that we still have to go to is the labor and birth interventions class. It should talk about C-sections and everything else that's not 'natural' labor. I really enjoyed our labor class. It was 4 weeks, two hours a night. Brandon hated it. Either that, or he just really enjoyed fighting about it with me every monday night. :) He was a trooper though and learned a lot. I think he didn't enjoy having to give me a 'no strings attached' massage for about 15 minutes each class. That was my favorite part!

During this last class, we got to tour the maternity center and see birthing rooms. Evergreen hospital is amazing and I've heard nothing but good things about the maternity center. The birthing suites are huge and they have everything that you will need there. It's pretty awesome. But touring it just made me a little more nervous. Not so much about the pain, but actually having a baby and taking one home! This whole becoming a parent thing is really exciting but scary at the same time. I'm really getting excited and anxious to meet her. I feel like I have the nervous butterflies that I had at the start of my marathon! I hope Brandon and I are the best parents we can be...and can take her to Disneyland when she's 5. :)
