Baby Shower Weekend

This past weekend, my sister threw me a baby shower. She did such a great job! She spent hours (like 15) in the kitchen preparing everything for it! There were yummy snickerdoodle cookies, a cake in the shape of a crown, a strawberry/spinach salad, chocolate covered pretzels that she used a mold for, and meats and cheeses. Soooo good. We played some really cute games. We had to guess the baby that goes with the celebrity. Sooo hard! Then we had to play the 'guess the chocolate bar in the diaper' game. So gross, but really funny. It's a lot harder than you'd realize! One of the last games, everyone had to use a string and guess how big around my belly is. Some people think I'm the size of a house! It was fun though.

Baby girl got sooooo many presents! There was a giant pile of pink clothes at the end of the party. She is going to be the best dressed girl around! Besides clothes, she got some books. Sara gave her 4 Dr. Seuss books, Liz got her a ton of books too including Goodnight Moon. She got so much other stuff right now, that I can't even think of it all. But if she were to make her appearance now, we'd be ready for her. :) I'll post some pictures of the giant pile of gifts when I upload them.

Also this weekend, Brandon and I went over to my co-worker's house. She does photography as a hobby and is really good at it. We asked her to take some pregnancy shots of us. I wanted a couple good ones to frame, and the others to have in a photo album. The pictures turned out awesome! She's still editing them, but posted one to her facebook page. I absolutely love it. I'm exactly 35 weeks pregnant here.





I can't wait to see the rest of them! :)
