I haven't been doing a very good job keeping up on my blog lately! I'll try to do a better job and post more pictures when I'm not so lazy. :)

So since my last post, I have had another doctor appointment. This was just last wednesday. It was confirmed that baby girl is still breech. The stubborn little turd! I actually don't blame her, because who really wants to be upside down for weeks? Well anyway, since she's still breech, they scheduled me for a C-section. They said it's easier to cancel the surgery than to try to fit me in later. So the date for this little girl to enter the world is September 28 at 7am! That's two weeks from tomorrow! If she flips before then, they will just cancel the appointment and I'll get to have her normally. The doctor checked my fluid levels and there is enough fluid for her to flip so hopefully she wants to. During the appointment, the doctor pulled out a little portable ultrasound machine, just to know for sure that her head is up, so I got to see her little face! It was really cute. :)
So because this date is set, I'm starting to stress out a little. I think overall I'm doing ok, but the pressure is on now for me to get everything done before she arrives! And it seems weird that I'm going to be having her THIS month! I know its' only 5 days or so before I'm due, but still...september vs october is a huge difference...to me anyway.
This is my last week of work until mid-february! My work gives me two weeks off before the baby is due, which is so awesome! But because I have the C-section scheduled, it cut into my second week. Kind of a bummer, but at least I have one full week to get stuff done. Then I will be home with her until February 16. I'm so looking forward to the break, but mostly to be spending time with her. I have absolutely no idea what to expect when this baby comes. I just hope I adjust well to it!
My next doctor appointment is this wednesday. I'm sure they will tell me that she's still breech. I haven't felt anything to think that she flipped yet. On top of the doctor appointment, I have to go to the maternity center at the hospital to go over my medical history and do all the paperwork for the C-section. I hate reading the possible side effects of surgery. They always list horrible things. When I read the ones for my lasik eye surgery, it really freaked me out! I guess I will be going over the vaccines for this baby too. I hope I remember everything they tell me. I'm still kind of in shock about having to go the C-section route.
