I have the house nice and quiet right now so I can finally update my blog! Woohoo! Allison is 3 weeks and 3 days old today. Time sure is flying! She is changing so much too. She not only looks different, but she is getting so strong and so alert now. She stares at everything with a puzzled look on her face. She can hold her head up a little bit too. We call her our bobble head because it will rock back and forth. :) So at birth she was 18.5 inches long. She barely fit in any newborn sized clothes. I put a couple outfits on her that she hasn't worn in a while and they fit her better! They fit really well in length, she's still skinny though. It's just amazing that she's getting bigger right before our eyes and we don't even notice! I really should be taking weekly pictures of her next to a doll or something, but I keep forgetting.
Yesterday Brandon and I took a little outing to starbucks and then a walk on the burke gilman trail. It was sooo nice to get out of the house. We were gone for almost two hours! We had to plan it just right so she was well fed and changed right before we went, but still. It was great! We even started talking about maybe taking a mini trip to Seaside, Oregon next week. It will be tough, but I think it will be fun. It will be Brandon's last week home so it might be worth doing something like that rather than sitting at home all day. It has been really great having him home for this long. I am going to be really bored when he has to go back to work.
