Allison turned 4 months old last friday. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. She had her 4 month doctor appointment on tuesday. She weighed in at 12.13 pounds, she was 23.75 inches tall and her head was 15.75 inches around. All in the 25% (head was more like 23%). I have a small baby! Her weight/height ratio has changed (it was 50% weight 10% height), mostly because she grew a ton and then she finally took a pacifier at night. I wasn't sitting around feeding her for an hour. She did great with her shots too. She cried for a minute and then was fine. She slept for most of the day though. And at night she slept from 8:30-6 straight! Of course I was checking on her all the time to make sure she didn't have a fever. So my sleep was still probably 5-6 hours...broken up. :)
I am so blessed to have such a perfect little baby. She is soooo happy and smiley all the time. Nighttime is still hard to get her down, but if that's the worst part, it's really not that bad. I just made a huge sacrafice to not have any evenings anymore...and I'm getting kind of used to it.
I'm so sad to have to go back to work in less than 2 weeks. It will be nice to get a paycheck again though! I am super lucky that I was able to take off 4.5 months. I can't imagine going back just after 8 weeks.
I would upload some recent pictures, but they are all on my phone (I've been slacking using the camera) and I can't figure out how to get them onto my computer. I have to wait for Brandon to get home. So stand by for lots of pictures! :)
