Busy Week!

Last week I had a pretty busy week! I don't get out too much just because I'm still getting used to breastfeeding in public, but I feel so much better when I do get to go somewhere. Monday, we had a playdate with some old co-workers Jenny and daughter Alexa and Linda and son Grayson. Grayson and Alexa were closer in age so they played together. Allison just enjoyed watching and pooping up her back and sleeping. :) It was probably more fun for me to have adult interaction than it was for her!
Here is the only picture I took:

Wednesday I took Allison to storytime at the Library for babies up to 12 months. Again she was the youngest, but not by much. The next youngest was 4.5 months and the oldest was 8 months. It was so cute watching the babies interact and stare at each other. Allison was really tired, I probably should have had her napping at that time. Oh well. She also pooped up her back there too! This girl can poop! So glad I brought extra clothes...I almost didn't!
Wednesday evening I got to go out and have dinner with my friend Liz. It was really nice catching up with her. I also enjoyed just getting out on my own. It's nice to know that Allison does fine when I'm not around.

Thursday evening I joined a running group that runs around Greenlake. I felt sooo good getting out and getting exercise. I'm going to try to keep going. Eventually, when Allison is older, I'll be able to run with her too!

Friday night was date night! My mom was staying in town with us last week for a Real estate class so she offered to watch Allison while we went to a movie. We saw The Fighter. It was really good! I hadn't been to a movie in FOREVER! I didn't enjoy going to movies when I was 9 months pregnant. I was so uncomfortable because her head was stuck under my ribs. I couldn't sit for that long. But it was really fun to go on friday. Brandon said it perfectly...it felt good to get out and feel normal again.

Then on Saturday, I went to the picasso exhibit with my sisters. Brandon played single dad that night. He did great. He got her to go to bed about 9:30 also! That night she slept for 9 hours too!
Getting out this week make me more comfortable getting out with her and without her. I need to set some time aside for myself because that's so important and this week proved that it could be done!

I just had to post this cute picture of her. It was taken on the way to Colton's birthday party.

This one makes me smile too:
